Migraines

Migraine headaches is a specific type of headache that is usually felt as an intense pain on one side of the head, most commonly behind the eye. Most migraines are accompanied by light and sound sensitivity and nausea or vomiting. Migraines can have many triggers including alcohol, specific foods, stress and hormones.

Most migraine suffers can be diagnosed and prescribed medications that help to alleviate symptoms if caught early or preventative medications.

Some migraine sufferers find chiropractic treatment, directed to the structures of the cervical spine, helpful in alleviating symptoms of migraine headache.

Not all chiropractic treatment in our clinic for migraine must use manual (cracking) adjustments.

We have low force and soft tissue alternatives that we have found just as helpful in relieving symptoms of migraine headaches without the need for manual adjusting, if you prefer not to have your neck adjusted.
